Weekender Resort & Hotel is a good place to relax, located in the middle of Lamai beach, with soft sand and tall trees all around. Its restaurant runs seafood BBQ with fresh catches of the day, and is really quite versatile in catering for all tastes. The prices fro rooms and food are reasonable.
The resort has several options for accommodation, which include the bungalows (beach front & resort front entrance), plus superior and deluxe rooms in three different buildings and also Thai styled houses. The 143 rooms are spread over a large area of well landscaped tropical gardens. The rooms are spacious and furnished individually with private bathroom (shower & bathtub with hot and cold water), air-conditioning with individual control, mini bar, and refrigerator, telephone IDD and colour TV (with satellite); linen service includes daily supply of fresh beach towels. Two bottles of drinking water are supplied daily free of charge and you’ll need them – the heat is very strong much of the year, unless you’re arriving in Rainy season – November to January.
