Koh Samui Yoga Guide
Yoga is an essential part of contemporary approaches to healthiness and wellness worldwide. Yoga on Samui is offered by a collection of professional foreign freelance yoga instructors who deliver courses, classes sessions at various resorts and spas, plus a few centres on the island providing yoga retreats and fasting programs.
Yoga on Koh Samui can be followed at centres including, Healthy and Fun Yoga Café which has a choice of treatments to help you feel feeling physically rejuvenated and spiritually lifted. Hatha Vinyasa yoga combines physical postures with some breathing exercises and a touch of meditation to smoothen the mind, body and breath connection. Yin yoga is a more relaxed and restorative type of yoga that works on ligaments, tendons and connective tissue. Beginners Restorative Ashtanga is for Ashtanga practitioners, and complements the dynamic Ashtanga style and is a soothing class for all. The centre offers private yoga classes that are for students new to yoga.
Absolute Yoga has recently opened in Fisherman’s Village and features a wide open space for yoga practice, as well as restaurant down below with health spa cuisine and wireless Internet access.

Health Oasis Spa and Resort is licensed by the Thai Health Department to treat illnesses. The resort employs professional consultants and alternative health practitioners. Their fasting and detox programs are popular, and last from one to eight days. The techniques include colonic irrigation, yoga and herbal treatments, and the benefits are mainly physical but can also create emotional stability and improve mental clarity.
